EWING, NJ – Two new overnight travel restrictions are scheduled to be implemented next week at the I-295/Route 29 interchange (Exit 76) to allow for Scudder Falls Bridge Replacement Project construction activities, the Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission announced today.

The Route 29 northbound bypass roadway around the interchange’s roundabouts and highway ramps is scheduled to be closed on five nights, Monday through Friday.  This closure will allow work crews to conduct roadway grading, guide rail installations, paving, and erection of an overhead lighting structure.

Meanwhile, the Route 29 access ramp to I-295 southbound is scheduled to be closed and detoured on three nights, Monday through Wednesday.  This closure will also facilitate the erection of a new overhead lighting structure and allow for grading, paving and other transitional roadway construction in the area where the Route 29 entry ramp to I-295 SB will be permanently relocated.
