Meetings - January / February 2005
The Delaware River Joint Bridge Commission and the consultant team presented
an update of the I-95/Scudder Falls Bridge Improvement Project to the
public at meetings in Lower Makefield Township in Pennsylvania and in
Ewing Township in New Jersey. The purpose of the meetings was to review
the purpose and need for the project and to describe the status of the
improvement alternatives for the Scudder Falls Bridge, I-95 and the
interchange in the project area. The alternatives and an evaluation
of their potential impacts will be presented at Open Houses in Lower
Makefield and Ewing in Spring 2005.

Falls Bridge Presentation
The Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission and the consultant team
presented the I-95/Scudder Falls Bridge Improvement Project to the public
at meetings in Lower Makefield Township in Pennsylvania and in Ewing
Township in New Jersey. The purpose of the meetings was to describe
the purpose and need for the project and the scope of the environmental,
engineering, and public participation activities. Improvement alternatives
will be identified and evaluated over the next year and the public will
have many opportunities for input into these alternatives. Once the
alternatives have been identified they will appear on the Current
Alternatives page of this website.
Lower
Makefield Township Meeting Summary
On February 2, 2004, the Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission attended
the Lower Makefield Township Board of Supervisors Meeting at the Lower
Makefield Township Hall in Yardley and presented the purpose and scope
of the I-95/Scudder Falls Bridge Improvement Project. The presentation
was followed by a question and answer period. Below is a list of the

On March 22, 2004,
the Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission attended an Ewing Township
Council Meeting at the Ewing Township Municipal Complex and presented
the purpose and scope of the I-95/Scudder Falls Bridge Improvement Project.
The presentation
