As part of this project, the consultant team developed various newsletters that were mailed to residents along the project area and to other interested citizens. In addition, there is a website on the internet located at www.scudderfallsbridge.com so that citizens can be informed about the project and provide feedback. You also may keep up-to-date on the project by signing up for newsletters that get issued when major project-preparation developments occur, such as the issuance of the initial Environmental Assessment document in December 2009. All newsletters issued to date may be viewed by simply visiting the project website, clicking on "Public Participation" and then going to "Newsletters."

To promote input during the concept design phase, an Interagency Advisory Committee (IAC) was organized for the project. The IAC was comprised of transportation and regional planning organizations and local government officials. Special-interest-group meetings and public open houses were held at key decision-making points in the project so that citizen issues and concerns could be identified and properly assessed. Open houses were advertised in local newspapers and announced on the project website.

Members of the public who may have additional questions or comments are encouraged to utilize the toll-free hotline number that was established for the project: 800-879-0849.
