The PA Turnpike/I-95 Interchange Project will change the current designation of I-95 to follow the PA Turnpike across the Delaware River Bridge into New Jersey. The segment of I-95 that currently continues north past the PA Turnpike will be re-designated as I-195 or I-295. The construction of the PA Turnpike/I-95 will not materially affect traffic volumes on the Scudder Falls Bridge, since the vast majority of traffic in the project area is for commutation and regional travel purposes. The 2030 traffic projections for Scudder Falls Bridge by the DVRPC take into account the construction of the PA Turnpike/I-95 Interchange Project.
