The Commission will notify you in advance by letter if field survey work is required on your property. On the day of the fieldwork, project staff will knock on your door to notify you that he or she is there to conduct studies. All staff wear picture identification badges so that you know that they are authorized by the Commission to work on this project. If you are not at home when staff arrives on your property, a flyer will be left that informs you that studies were conducted while you were away. The flyer provides information about how to contact the Commission if you have any questions about the field studies or other aspects of the project.
