Funding for Project
  • Environmental Documentation and Preliminary Engineering funded by DRJTBC
  • $142 million planned for the project in the Capital Program
  • Current project estimate is $195 million
  • Construction of improvements to Scudder Falls Bridge, I-95 and the interchanges within the project limits

Project Purpose
  • To alleviate traffic congestion and improve operational and safety conditions


  • Goals:
  • Meet current Design Criteria – AASHTO, PENNDOT, NJDOT for geometry, lanes, shoulders, acceleration/deceleration lanes, structures, etc.
  • Achieve LOS D Operation in Design Year (2030)
